A Scary Good Time
All October long local businesses adorn 3rd Street lampposts with scarecrows, open their doors for trick or treating, and hold family fun events. On Halloween, Third Street shuts down for its annual Trick-or-Treat family fun day! Visit your favorite downtown businesses for all treats, no tricks!

Important Dates
October 1: Registration forms are DUE.
Lamp posts will be assigned no later than Oct.7, though earlier entries will likely get their assignments sooner.
October 15: Scarecrows must be installed.
October 19-29: Online voting!
October 31: Winners announced and prizes awarded.
November 4: Scarecrows must be removed by this date.
Get Creative!
Use your imagination – traditional, humorous, or contemporary – and be creative! Depict a favorite fairy tale, animal, fantasy figure, movie or television character, or historic person – the possibilities are endless!
Remember, this is a community celebration. The goal is to generate goodwill and a festive atmosphere. No political, off-color, or profane displays will be allowed.

Pick up a coloring sheet from First Federal, McMinnville Library, or download it below. When finished, carefully write your name and contact information on the back. Return to the McMinnville Downtown Association (105 NE 3rd St.)
