Emily Matsuda has been a resident of Yamhill County since 2011 and a McMinnville resident since 2020. She has been an active part of the McMinnville downtown community since 2014 as a frequent performer and director at Gallery Theater where she also serves on the Board of Directors. Emily’s background is in marketing, visual arts, and reputation and project management. As the Director of Marketing and Communications for the McMinnville Downtown Association, she oversees the MDA and Farmers Market social media, the weekly newsletter, and the website while also planning and coordinating the downtown events like UFO Fest and the Santa Parade and Tree Lighting. She is passionate about the incredible McMinnville community and creating meaningful connections to enhance downtown experiences.

Samantha Monagon is a lifelong resident of McMinnville with a background in event planning, management, and hospitality. When she’s not working, you’ll find her cheering on her son at McMinnville High School athletics or spending time with her husband and two boys. As the Director of Operations and Events and Farmers Market Manager for the McMinnville Downtown Association, she plans a variety of downtown events and oversees the Farmers Market. She is passionate about contributing to her community and creating memorable experiences in downtown McMinnville.
